Free Cookie & Coffee Giveaway on Tax Day

WHAT:           On April 15, 2009 European American Bakery Café is offering economic relief in the form of ‘dough’, cookie dough that is, with a free cookie to any customer in honor of tax day.  Free coffee will also be offered to anyone who asks.

The cookie and coffee giveaway will take place throughout the day from 6am – 6pm Wednesday.  We will be giving away our signature cookie called Royale (chocolate chips, macadamia nuts and coconut) as well as other flavors.

“Tax Day is almost always a stressful day so wanted to reward current customers and encourage those who didn’t even know we are here to try our baked goods.” says Michael Savich, owner of the bakery café. “One bite of these cookies and most will forget about their problems, at least for the day we hope.  We also hope they stay to enjoy our breakfast or lunch menu items.” 

The cookie and coffee giveaway is also meant as a pick me up from all the ‘bad’ news that’s coming from the economy.  “We are fortunate to have so far weathered this recession and wanted to share our appreciation with the public and our customers” Michael adds.  "What better way to relieve the dreaded tax day and these tough economic times then to indulge a little with fresh baked cookies.”
